Extinct flame in 10 seconds, or cotton will be burnt and cannot soak fluid. Pull out cotton wick a little if its end is burnt. Note : Due to shipping regulation, all lighters are empty, so please install fuel before the actual lighting. Once the flame become weaker, you need to add a little lighter fluid to the canister. (The lighter fluid can be gas or kerosene, and neither of them is included in the package). The wick is easily replaceable. Just remove the old wick & insert a new one with a needle.
